The Reckoning

The Reckoning investigates the notions of breaking up, breaking down, and breaking through. This work is inspired by the Japanese Art of Kintsugi, the process in which cracks of broken objects are filled with gold to transform them into something more beautiful. The show consists of a series of past works that have been re-conceptualized as a catalyst for the demolition of the physical set and the reclamation of fragmented experiences. The Reckoning premiered at CounterPulse in San Fransisco as part of The More Unfinished Business showcase series and has been referred to as a "greatest hits" piece.
